Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
