Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
