Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
