Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and fulfil your promise unto Me, [whereupon] I shall fulfil My promise unto you; and of Me, of Me stand in awe! 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 And do not overlay the truth with falsehood, and do not knowingly suppress the truth; 42 And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason? 44 And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit, 45 Who know that verily they are going to meet their Lord, and that verily unto Him they are going to return, 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
