Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
