Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or they allege, “He is a poet – we await a calamity of the times to befall him.” 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Or are thy Lord's treasuries in their keeping? Or are they the registrars? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Does God have daughters while you have sons? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 And if they should see a portion of the heaven coming down, they would say: Piled up clouds. 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Surely there are other torments besides this for those who are wicked, though most of them do not know. 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
