The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 He has created man: 3 He hath taught him utterance. 4 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 so that you should not transgress the measure. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. 22 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 23 His are the ships, towering on the sea like mountains. 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
