The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
