The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 created man out of a germ-cell 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 Taught man what he knew not. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 Because he sees himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely your returning is to your Lord. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a servant (of Allah) when he prays? 10 What thinkest thou? If he were upon guidance 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 By no means! If he desist not We shall seize and deal him by the forelock 15 his lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
