The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
