Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
