And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution; do they not then understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 They cannot help them, though they be hosts made ready for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!- 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Has He Who created the heavens and the earth no power to create the likes of them? Yes, indeed, He is the Superb Creator. 81 His Being alone is such that when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" — and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
