Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or, do they have a ladder on which they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 The unjust will suffer other torments besides this but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
