Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
