And when the envoys came to the family of Lot, 61 he said, 'Surely you are a people unknown to me!' 62 "We have come to you with news," they said, "of what your people doubt; 63 "Yet we bring to you the truth, and we are truthful. 64 So travel with thy household in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs. Let none of you turn round, but go whither ye are commanded. 65 And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed. 66 Then came the people of the city, exulting at the news. 67 and he told them, "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 but be conscious of God and disgrace me not!" 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)." 71 By thy life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement, 72 At sunrise a dreadful Shout seized them. 73 and turned the land upside down, and rained down stones of baked clay. 74 Indeed in that are signs for those who discern. 75 And verily they are on a pathway lasting. 76 Indeed in this are signs for the believers. 77 The people of the Wood were also surely wrongdoers. 78 So We chastised them. The desolate locations of both communities lie on a well-known highway. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
