And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
