The people of Lot cried lies to the Envoys 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits." 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said: "I am one of those who abhor your practice. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my family from their wicked deeds." 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 except an old woman who remained behind. 171 Then We utterly destroyed the others. 172 And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned! 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
