In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 taught man what he did not know. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the return. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 Let him know that if he does not desist, We shall certainly drag him by his forelocks, 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 Let him call on his associates for help 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 Beware! Do not obey him, but bow in adoration and draw near (to your Lord). ۩ 19
