The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with [an inner] truth; sublimely exalted is He above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
