The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily, most surely, your God is One 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 Protecting them against every wayward devil, 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
