We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
