The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
