Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
