And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
