Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
