▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
