O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ Now; if the hypocrites do not give over, and those in whose hearts there is sickness and they that make commotion in the city, We shall assuredly urge thee against them and then they will be thy neighbours there only a little; 60 Accursed, wherever found, they shall be seized and killed with a (terrible) slaughter. 61 Such has been the way of Allah with those who have passed before them, and you shall find no change in the ways of Allah. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a Blaze, 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On the Day whereon their faces shall be rolled in the Fire, they will say: Oh that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed the apostle! 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 “Our Lord! Give them double the punishment of the fire and send upon them a mighty curse!” 68
