Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
