And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
