The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
