Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
