۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
