Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
