And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 But when they had gone farther, he said to his servant: Bring to us our morning meal, certainly we have met with fatigue from this our journey. 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said to Moses, "If you will follow me, do not ask me about anything until I tell you the story about it." 70
