Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse). 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Ishmael; he was true to his promise, a Messengers and a Prophet. 54 who used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in his Sustainer's sight. 55 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Idris. Behold, he was a man of truth, a prophet, 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 (They shall enter the) Gardens of Eden, which the Merciful has promised His worshipers in the Unseen. Indeed, His promise shall come. 61 They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace: And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall cause those of Our servants who have been God-fearing to inherit. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
