The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
