۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 They shall say: Surely you used to come to us from the right side. 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 there is waiting for them a known provision; 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 On couches, facing one another. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 Then, are we not to die 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire, 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 Surely they found their fathers going astray, 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
