And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
