Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)! 22 Allah has sent down the best discourse, a Book, consimilar in its oftrepeated (verses) that the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble; and thereafter their skins and hearts soften to the Remembrance of Allah. Such is the Guidance of Allah, whereby He guides whosoever He will; and whosoever Allah leads astray, he has no guide. 23 Is he then who has to guard himself with his own person against the evil chastisement on the resurrection day? And it will be said to the unjust: Taste what you earned. 24 Those who went before them also belied, then Our punishment overtook them from where they were unaware; 25 God made them suffer humiliation in this life. Would that they knew that the torment for them in the next life will be even greater. 26 We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition. 27 This Quran is a flawless reading text in the Arabic language. Perhaps they will have fear of God. 28 [To this end,] God sets forth a parable: A man who has for his masters several partners, [all of them] at variance with one another, and a man depending wholly on one person: can these two be deemed equal as regards their condition? [Nay,] all praise is due to God [alone]: but most of them do not understand this. 29 You are mortal, and they are mortal 30 Then you will dispute before your Lord on the Day of Resurrection. 31
