You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
