Al-Naba' 2 of 2

Lo! for the duteous is achievement - 31 Gardens enclosed, and grapevines; 32 and young maidens of equal age, 33 and an overflowing cup. 34 No vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth:- 35 A reward from your Lord – a grossly sufficient bestowal. 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Beneficent Allah, they shall not be able to address Him. 37 The day when Jibreel and all the angels will stand in rows; none will be able to speak except one whom the Most Gracious commands and who spoke rightly. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.) 38 That is the True Day. So whoso will should seek recourse unto his Lord. 39 Lo, We have warned you of a nigh chastisement, upon the day when a man shall behold what his hands have forwarded, and the unbeliever shall say, 'O would that I were dust!' 40
