Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 truly with hardship comes ease.' 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
