"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
