1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 'But what is the matter with you that you cannot help one another?,'" 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 But now our Sustainer's word has come true against us [as well]: verily, we are bound to taste [the fruit of our sins]. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. 33 Thus do We treat the culprits. 34 for, behold, whenever they were told, "There is no deity save God," they would glory in their arrogance 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 On thrones, facing each other. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White, a pleasure unto the drinkers. 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 What then, shall we not die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire: 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 and they [who are lost in evil] are indeed bound to eat thereof, and to fill their bellies therewith. 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not). 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74
