In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Saad, by the Holy Reading (Koran) of the Remembrance. 1 Those who deny the truth are steeped in arrogance and hostility. 2 How many generations have We destroyed before them who cried (for mercy) when it was too late for escape. 3 Now they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a lying sorcerer. 4 What, has he made the gods One God? This is indeed a wondrous thing' 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 "We never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale!" 7 What, out of all of us, has the Remembrance been sent down to him (Prophet Muhammad)' No, they are doubtful about My Remembrance, no, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Or have they the treasuries of thy Lord's mercy, the All-mighty, the All-giving? 9 Or is theirs the kingdom of the heavens and earth and of what between them is? Why, then let them ascend the cords! 10 A very host of parties is routed there! 11 Before them (were many who) rejected messengers,- the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Pharaoh, the Lord of Stakes, 12 And (the tribe of) Thamud, and the folk of Lot, and the dwellers in the wood: these were the factions. 13 There was not one but belied the apostles, wherefore justified was My wrath. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
