Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
