He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 And remember you a great deal. 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 for I have chosen thee for Mine Own service. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
