Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
