To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
