The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 And made them virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
